Example Problem 9.1:  This problem is a design problem that looks for the lightest weight section that satisfies the SCM criteria for a given loading and geometry.

Example Problem 9.2:   This problem checks the combined force criteria for a single bay, two story frame.  One level is braced and the other unbraced.  The problem illustrates the computation of internal forces magnified for the presence of second-order effects.
