Dormitory Design Problem


Problem D8.1:  Determine the snow loads on the structure, including the entry roof. The building is considered to be partially sheltered in an exposure C location and has a warm roof.  The building is to be built in a location specified by your instructor using the ASCE 7-05 specified values for ground snow load.  Draw sketches showing the location and magnitude of the snow load for all applicable cases.
